President - Managing Partner
I am a senior executive with over 20 years of professional experience in Sales, Consulting, Relationship Management, Business Development and Marketing Strategy. Throughout my working life in various local and multinational companies in different industries, I have always successfully achieved my responsible goals, coached and mentored various teams and colleagues, and closely followed market trends that will impact the business environment; After all my sailing experiences, I developed my passion for sailing at Boom Yelken .

I am athlete by nature as I regularly do various sports such as sailing, surfing (wind and rowing), skiing, climbing, cycling, motorcycle, trekking and outdoor running. Competitive and challenging situations (tasks) and challenge, where I can consistently perform better, have always been an important source of motivation in my career.
Brave, self-disciplined, results-oriented, multi-tasking, self-motivated, results-oriented, positive-thinking, multi-tasking, wise use of time, tackling strategic challenges, having a strong moral sense, resilient and compassionate personality. My athlete-defining qualities have helped me easily overcome the competitive challenges of business life and build a successful consulting career.

I have been sailing for over 10 years. My passion for sailing started with windsurfing and long sailing trips. I started my journey as a sailor, after completing basic sailing training, by taking delivery of sailboats from Marseille to Turkey with professional captains and bringing them to Turkey. During these transfers, the open sea experience and the fact that I used the boats alone prepared me for the changing weather and sea conditions and made me a competent captain who learned to cope with the changing conditions.

Sailing quickly became one of my biggest passions and I combined sailing with other activities I enjoyed, such as freediving, yoga, hiking and corporate training. My aim at Boom Yelken is to welcome people who are interested in sailing and to give them an unforgettable sailing experience.

Previous Work Experience

I have more than 25 years of experience in business development consulting, sales, strategic planning and relationship management. I was the managing partner of Conwisor consulting firm and consulted for Otte Chrysalis UK.
​
Before founding BoomSail, I was the country manager of Forrester Research. Before Forrester, I worked at Gartner as Turkey sales manager. I also worked as country sales manager at Unisys, sales and marketing director at Servus, and sales manager at Gantek and Koç Bank.
Education
​
​I graduated from Marmara University, Department of Economics. I earned a full scholarship from the CW Post NY Academic Computing Department of Long Island University and completed a Masters in Marketing and Finance.
​
I am an ICF certified professional coach and I have an acting instructor certificate from Müjdat Gezen Art Center.
​
In addition to Amator Maritime Certificate and Short Range Radio, I have IYT International Bareboat Skipper Sail, Marine Communication Master VHF Short Range Certificate, IYT Yachtmaster Coastal.
